Student + Teacher
Small enough that he can't hide, warm enough that he doesn't want to.
Teachers here learn how a young man works before they decide what he needs.
Why UPrep
Most families are not asking for a longer list of programs. They are asking one question: will anyone here actually know my son?

High expectations mean more when someone has your back.
UPrep is a public charter school for young men in Rochester, grades 6 through 12. The standards are not lowered for anybody. Neither is the support.

Student + Teacher

Student + Counselor
Counseling is scheduled into the week, so hard conversations happen early instead of late.

Student + Grade Level Manager
Grade Level Managers follow a class through the year — attendance, mood, family, momentum.

Family + School
Families are contacted about what is going right, not only what went wrong.

Brother + Brother
Older students carry the culture. That is not an accident — it is how the day is built.

It represents young men walking across a stage with something waiting on the other side.
College. Career. Trades. Leadership. The destination may look different. The expectation doesn't.
